spooktacular @ the hen
Golden leaves flutter down from the trees and dance across streets in the wind. A chill in the air suddenly invites us to light fires in the fireplace, bring out our sweaters, and cozy up for autumn.
Whenever the Fall mood strikes you, there are some quick ways to decorate. Simple little touches of warm fall color and whimsy are all that's needed.
Have fun!
If decking out the digs isn't your thing...try a ring. These "hotcakes" are bold and funky. One is all the jewelry you will need for any outfit.

These paper bead necklaces will arrive at "the hen" soon. Created by women in Uganda, the beads provide a much-needed income. some of my favorite blogs
I am not happy about what's happening with magazines...the good one's are disappearing. Have you noticed? Since I like to read just about everything - except for books (I know, not good and that's hard for me to even admit because I realize just how that sounds), I am really missin' the mags. Luckily I have a few blogs that I check in with every once in a while. Here is a list of some that I like:
www.lolabboutique.com (she has a great shoe fetish & takes some lovely photos)
www.happiness-project.com
www.whitehottruth.com
www.curioussofa.com
www.52flea.com
www.leftbankgalleryessex.blogspot.com
Share some of your favorite blogs...and I do read books too...currently the girl with the dragon tatoo and it's a hard one to get into.

a new line at the hen...fabulous
Linneas Light candles are made from natural soy in small batches (only three candles at a time). They are triple scented for ultimate scent throw. Each candle has two wicks, which gives a beautiful, clean burn across the liquefied wax. Every step in the process of making these candles is touched by hand: from the blending of the scents to the hand stamping of the labels. All the materials used in Linneas Light candles are either recycled or recyclable, and of course the wicks are lead free and the soy wax doesn't release a bunch of nastiness in the air like paraffin.
